How to take

Adult dose

As aceclofenac, take 100 mg twice a day, every 12 hours. This medication should be swallowed whole and not chewed or crushed. Adjust dosage according to symptoms. To minimize cardiovascular adverse reactions, administer the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary.

Precautions

This medication carries a risk of gastrointestinal bleeding in individuals who regularly consume three or more alcoholic drinks daily; therefore, consultation with a doctor or pharmacist is essential. This medication can increase the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases; individuals with risk factors such as heart failure, hypertension, diabetes, or smoking should use it cautiously, and it is advisable to take the minimal effective dose for the shortest duration possible. Serious adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations may occur; thus, special caution is required for the elderly or those with a history of gastrointestinal disease. Individuals with active peptic ulcers or bleeding, those allergic to this medication or similar medications, or those with asthma, heart failure, or severe renal or liver impairment should not take this medication. Those with renal or liver problems, the elderly, individuals with hypertension, or a history of asthma should use this medication cautiously and require regular examinations per a doctor's instructions. During treatment with this medication, dizziness, drowsiness, or visual disturbances may occur, so it is advisable to avoid driving or operating hazardous machinery.
