Precautions

This medication should not be used on open wounds or mucous membrane areas. It should also be avoided in cases of skin infections caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or animals, as symptoms may worsen. It is safe not to use this medication for areas with purulence or for patients allergic to this medication or its components. Patients with perforations in the tympanic membrane should be cautious as healing may be delayed. It is advisable to refrain from using it in cases of ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite. This medication is also not recommended for dermatitis around the mouth, common acne, or rosacea. Patients with a history of allergic reactions to medications or cosmetics should use this with caution. Those currently undergoing treatment, with extensive skin lesions, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and children should use it carefully. This medication contains a component called propylene glycol, and special caution should be taken if allergic to this component. During use, various side effects such as skin infections, rashes, itching, and skin irritation may occur, so if any adverse reactions occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Long-term use may lead to side effects such as thinning of the skin or dilation of blood vessels, so it is advisable to use it for the shortest duration possible. Widespread application or occlusive dressing with this medication may cause systemic steroid side effects, so regular check-ups with a doctor are necessary. When used around the eyes, it can raise intraocular pressure or pose a risk of glaucoma, so caution is required and care must be taken to avoid contact with eyes. It is safer for women who are pregnant or may become pregnant not to use this medication over long periods or on large areas, and consult a physician if necessary. Caution is also needed for breastfeeding women as this medication may be passed into breast milk. Children have a greater risk of side effects due to higher absorption relative to body surface area, so it should be used under the supervision of a guardian, and care should also be taken as applying it in areas covered by diapers may have a similar effect to occlusive dressing. This medication should only be used topically and not orally. Take care to avoid contact with the eyes, and if it does get into the eyes, rinse immediately with clean water. If severe symptoms occur, seek ophthalmological treatment. Do not apply to areas not intended for treatment after makeup or shaving, and occlusive dressings must be used according to a doctor's instructions. Store in a sealed container to prevent air or moisture ingress, keep in a cool and dry place out of reach of children, and away from direct sunlight. It is also advisable not to transfer to another container to maintain quality. Do not use expired products. Particularly for psoriasis patients, long-term large-scale use may lead to psoriasiform erythroderma or pustular psoriasis during or after treatment, so caution is required.
