This medication is used to relieve symptoms of skin diseases such as urticaria, eczema, and itching.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults and those aged 15 and older: 2 tablets each time, 3 times a day Dosing interval should be more than 4 hours.

Child dose

Ages 8 to 14: 1 tablet each time, 3 times a day Dosing interval should be more than 4 hours.

Precautions

This medicine should not be taken by infants under 3 months of age. Additionally, anyone who has had an allergic reaction to this medicine or its ingredients should avoid taking it. Individuals currently taking or having recently stopped an MAO inhibitor (such as antidepressants or antipsychotics) within the last two weeks should not take this medication. This medicine contains a dye called Yellow No. 5, and those who are allergic to this dye should use it with caution. It is advisable not to use this medicine concurrently with other cold medications, antihistamines, or motion sickness drugs. Especially in children under 2 years of age, it should only be taken after consulting a doctor, and individuals with allergic conditions such as urticaria, dermatitis, migraine, or food allergies should consult a specialist before use. People with hypertension, heart disease, kidney disease, glaucoma, urinary difficulty, those who are weak or have a high fever, and elderly individuals must consult a specialist before taking this medicine. If severe allergic symptoms such as urticaria, breathing difficulties, swelling of the face or extremities occur after taking this medicine, stop taking it immediately and consult a doctor. Additionally, if symptoms such as increased blood pressure, headache, muscle weakness, or convulsions develop, inform a specialist immediately. This medicine should be taken according to prescribed dosages and durations; prolonged use should be avoided. Since drowsiness can occur while taking this medication, it is advisable to refrain from driving or operating machinery, and it is safest not to consume alcohol concurrently. Caution is needed when taking this medicine with potassium-containing supplements or diuretics, as muscle symptoms may occur. Finally, this medicine should be stored out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place. Avoid transferring the medicine from its original container to another container.

Interactions

Drug interactions

This medication should not be used in conjunction with MAO inhibitors (such as antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, antiparkinsonians), other oral remedies for rhinitis, oral medications containing antihistamines (such as cold medicines, cough suppressants, motion sickness drugs, allergy medications), or formulations that contain diphenhydramine (including topical preparations). Potassium-containing preparations, licorice-containing preparations, glycyrrhizin or its salts, and loop diuretics (like furosemide, ethacrynic acid) should also be avoided.

Do not consume alcohol during treatment with this medication.
