This medication is used for the prevention and treatment of iron deficiency anemia. It helps reduce fatigue and lethargy by improving anemia caused by iron deficiency. How to take

Adult dose

Adults and children over 12 years: 1 capsule once a day after meals

Precautions

This medication should be kept in a safe place out of reach of children, as accidental overdose can lead to serious poisoning and death. Individuals allergic to any ingredients in this medication, infants under 12 months, or those with specific iron metabolism disorders should not take this medication. Additionally, patients with iron overload or specific types of anemia, chronic pancreatitis, or cirrhosis should avoid using this medication. This medication contains lactose; therefore, individuals with lactose intolerance or related genetic disorders should not take it. It is advisable not to take this medication together with phosphates, calcium salts, certain antibiotics, or antacids. Tea containing tannins, such as green tea or black tea, and milk or dairy products should also be avoided before and after taking this medication. Patients undergoing treatment or with gastrointestinal diseases, heart and kidney disorders, or specific blood disorders must consult a healthcare professional before using this medication. If symptoms such as skin rash, itching, gastrointestinal disturbances, fever, or coma occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult healthcare personnel. This medication should be strictly taken according to the prescribed dosage, and if symptoms do not improve, it is important to consult a professional. During treatment, blood tests should be carried out to monitor the condition and avoid overdose. Taking vitamin C concurrently may increase iron absorption, so caution is necessary. Patients with pernicious anemia may not show improvement in neurological symptoms due to folic acid contained in this medication, so it should be taken with vitamin B12. Chronic alcohol abuse may lead to iron overload, so caution is advised. This medication should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture, and it should not be transferred to other containers.
