This medication helps to control hypertension and is used to treat myocardial ischemia caused by stable angina due to fixed obstruction of the coronary artery and variant angina caused by vascular spasm.

How to take

Adult dose

As Amlodipine, take 5 mg orally once daily. If symptoms do not improve within 2 to 4 weeks, the dosage may be increased up to a maximum of 10 mg daily, depending on patient response. Adjust the dosage appropriately based on symptoms.

Precautions

This medication should not be administered to certain patients. For example, it should not be used by those who are allergic to this medication or its ingredients, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and patients with severe heart problems or liver dysfunction. Additionally, patients with very poor kidney function, the elderly, and those with acute heart failure need to take special precautions when using this medication. Various side effects may occur while taking this medication.
