Patients with severe inflammation or obstruction in the intestines are contraindicated as this drug can worsen their condition. This drug should be used with caution in patients with difficulty urinating, liver or kidney dysfunction, symptoms of Parkinson's disease, hyperthyroidism, the elderly, etc. Especially in the elderly, who may have reduced liver and kidney function, it is safe to start with a small dose. This medication may increase side effects when taken with other anticholinergics, tricyclic antidepressants, phenothiazine drugs, and MAO inhibitors, so caution is needed. It is preferable for pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, and nursing mothers not to take this drug, as its safety in children has not been established.
