Additionally, patients with obstruction of the stomach or intestines should avoid this medication as it can suppress bowel movement and worsen symptoms. Patients with weak abdominal muscles or relaxed intestines may also experience worsening symptoms due to the action of this medication. Patients who have difficulty urinating should be cautious, as this medication can interfere with bladder muscle contraction, making urination more difficult. This drug is contraindicated in patients with certain types of glaucoma, as it can increase intraocular pressure and worsen symptoms. Patients with severe myasthenia gravis or heart disease also face the risk of worsened symptoms when taking this medication. Patients with severely impaired liver function or a history of arrhythmias should avoid this drug as well. Furthermore, those with lactose intolerance or specific genetic disorders should not take this medication due to the lactose it contains. There are also patients who need to take this medication with caution. Patients who have difficulty urinating, or those with impaired liver or kidney function may experience adverse reactions when taking this drug, so they should use it with caution. Patients with Parkinson's disease or cerebrovascular disorders may also see symptom exacerbation, thus caution is necessary. Patients with hyperthyroidism, elderly individuals, or those with autonomic nervous system issues or heart disease may be more sensitive to the side effects of this drug. Glaucoma patients should also be careful, as treatment may aggravate symptoms due to increased intraocular pressure. Severe side effects may occasionally occur with this medication. For example, mental symptoms such as hallucinations or delirium may appear, and if any abnormal signs arise, the medication should be discontinued immediately. Gastrointestinal issues like severe constipation or abdominal bloating may develop, so careful monitoring is necessary. Cardiac issues such as arrhythmias, blood pressure changes, or thrombocytopenia can also occur. Renal function may deteriorate or urination may become difficult, so attention is warranted. If severe skin rashes, itching, eye pain, or vision deterioration occur, the patient should stop taking the drug immediately. Liver function issues, muscle pain, or muscle weakness have also been reported, so any unusual symptoms should be discussed with a specialist. When taking this medication, symptoms must be clearly identified, and it's important to confirm whether any other conditions present similar symptoms. Especially for patients with lower urinary tract obstruction diseases, treating that condition should take precedence. This drug can cause drowsiness or dizziness; therefore, driving or operating hazardous machinery should be avoided. Care should be taken when co-administering anticholinergics or specific antidepressants and antipsychotics, as this may increase side effects.
