If taking non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, extra care is advised as this drug may hide symptoms of gastric cancer, so patients with gastric ulcers or new or changed dyspeptic symptoms over the age of 40 should confirm they do not have malignant diseases before use. Those with Helicobacter pylori-positive gastric and duodenal ulcers should undergo eradication therapy. Caution should also be exercised when used in severely ill patients in intensive care units or those with hypophosphatemia or difficulty swallowing. This medication may interact with other medications, so if you are taking other drugs, be sure to inform your healthcare provider, especially when using medications that affect blood coagulation, as frequent blood tests may be required. It is advisable not to use this drug during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and its safety in children has not been established, so it is preferable to avoid use in this population. In case of overdose, emergency treatment such as vomiting or gastric lavage may be necessary, so visit a hospital immediately.
