Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients who have hypersensitivity to its components. It is also advised that patients with a history of allergies to soybean oil, soy, or peanuts do not take this medication. Patients undergoing treatment or women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should use this medication cautiously. Caution is needed when taking this medication with levodopa, a drug for Parkinson's disease, as pyridoxine contained in this medication may weaken the effect of levodopa. Patients with lipid metabolism issues such as hyperlipoproteinemia, diabetic dyslipidemia, or pancreatitis should take this medication with care, and cautious administration is required when using lipid emulsions. This medication contains a pigment called Tartrazine (Yellow No. 5), so those allergic to this component should exercise caution. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, and constipation may occur upon taking this medication, and skin rashes or redness may also develop. Additionally, this medication may affect the menstrual cycle, potentially causing periods to become earlier or increasing the amount of bleeding, so if these symptoms persist for a long time, consultation with a specialist is recommended. Women taking oral contraceptives containing estrogen or patients at risk of thrombosis should consult a physician or pharmacist before taking this medication containing Vitamin E. Long-term intake of pyridoxine in doses greater than 500 mg to 2 g per day may cause sensory nerve damage or neuropathic symptoms, so dosage and duration should be monitored closely. This medication should be taken according to the prescribed dosage and regimen, and if symptoms do not improve after one month, consultation with a specialist is advisable. Patients at risk of fat overload should regularly check blood lipid levels while taking this medication and adjust the dosage if necessary. When administered with other lipid-lowering agents, the total lipid amount should be considered when adjusting the dosage. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, and it is important to store it sealed in a cool place, away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity. To maintain quality, do not transfer to other containers and be careful to avoid misuse.
