Improvement of menopausal disorder symptoms
This injection is used to improve various symptoms caused by menopausal disorders.
As placenta extract, administer 2 mL subcutaneously, 3 times a week for 2 weeks (total of 6 times).
This medication is in ampoule injection form, and when opening the container, glass fragments may mix in, so it should be opened very carefully. Extra caution is especially needed when used by children or the elderly. This medication contains components extracted from human placenta. While thorough testing for infection is conducted when collecting the placenta, and processing during manufacture is done to reduce the risk of infection, complete elimination of the infection risk is not possible. Therefore, this medication should only be used restrictively in necessary cases. This medication contains benzyl alcohol, which can cause severe respiratory problems in premature or underweight infants. This medication should not be used in patients with allergies or significant diseases related to the heart, liver, or kidneys, and also in newborns or premature infants. Patients with allergic tendencies should be particularly cautious when using this medication. After administration, shock symptoms or hypersensitivity reactions such as chills, nausea, fever, and skin rashes may occur. If any of these symptoms occur, stop using it immediately and seek appropriate treatment. Pain or redness may occur at the injection site, and rarely gynecomastia or mastalgia may occur, in which case administration should also be stopped. When using this medication, it is important to adequately explain and seek patient understanding regarding the risk of infection. It should only be administered subcutaneously, and the injection site should be carefully selected to avoid areas where nerves pass. When administering multiple injections, it is advisable to avoid the same area and alternate sides. If severe pain occurs during injection or blood is seen flowing back, the needle should be removed immediately and the injection should be given at another site.
