Improvement of menopausal disorder symptoms
This injection is used to improve various symptoms caused by menopausal disorders. During menopause, various physical and mental symptoms may appear due to changes in female hormones, and this medication helps alleviate those symptoms. Thus, it effectively improves the symptoms of menopausal disorders.
As an extract of placenta, administer 2 mL once, 3 times a week for 2 weeks (total of 6 times) by subcutaneous injection.
This medication may contain glass fragments when used as an injection, so care must be taken when opening the ampoule. Extra caution is needed when administering to children and the elderly. Since this medication contains components extracted from human placenta, thorough examination for infection is conducted when obtaining the placenta, and measures are taken to prevent infection during the manufacturing process. However, despite these safety precautions, the risk of infection transmission cannot be completely eliminated, so it should only be used minimally in cases where treatment is absolutely necessary. Additionally, the benzyl alcohol component in this medication can cause life-threatening respiratory issues in premature infants and newborns, so it should not be used in these populations. It must not be administered to patients with allergies to this medication or other drugs, or those with severe diseases beyond heart, liver, kidney issues, or with psychogenic disorders. Caution should be exercised when using in patients with allergic predispositions. If sudden shock symptoms occur during use, administration should be immediately discontinued and appropriate treatment should be sought. Hypersensitivity reactions such as chills, nausea, fever, or skin rashes may occur, and administration should also be stopped in such cases. Pain or redness may occur at the injection site, and rarely, women may experience breast pain or gynecomastia, in which case use should be stopped. It is essential to adequately explain to the patient that this medication contains components derived from human placenta, which is not without infection risk. When using for subcutaneous injection, care should be taken in selecting the injection site to avoid nerve damage, and the injection site should be alternated during repeated injections. If severe pain or blood backflow occurs during injection, the needle should be immediately removed and another site should be used for injection. This medication should only be administered subcutaneously, and other methods of injection should be avoided.
