This medication helps improve various types of pigmentation such as melasma, freckles, senile lentigines, and excessive melanin pigmentation. It gradually lightens the skin, alleviating unnecessary pigmentation and evening out skin tone. It is suitable for those with these skin issues and is used safely to reduce pigmentation and maintain beautiful skin.
Apply 2% or 4% hydroquinone to the affected area once or twice a day (morning, before bed).
This drug is an external cream used to improve skin pigmentation. Care must be taken to avoid exposing the skin to sunlight during use, as even brief exposure may continue to stimulate skin pigmentation. It is essential to use sunscreen on the area where this medication is applied or to wear clothing that blocks sunlight. Exposure to sunlight may cause side effects such as skin discoloration. Animal studies have found that the active ingredient in this medication can lead to genetic mutations and cancer when used at high doses for extended periods, so it is advisable to adjust the usage according to the therapeutic effect and avoid long-term use. Do not use this medication if you have allergies to this drug or its components, are pregnant, or are a child under 12 years of age, or if you have impaired kidney function. Additionally, this medication contains certain chemicals that may trigger allergic reactions or asthma attacks, so asthmatic patients should take particular caution. If you experience skin rashes, itching, or blisters while using this product, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician or pharmacist. When using for the first time, apply a small amount and observe for skin reactions for 24 hours. If there is no severe inflammation or itching, you may continue to use it. If symptoms do not improve after 2 months of use, stop and consult a professional. This medication is only for skin lightening and should not be used for sun protection or sunburn prevention. Pregnant women or those who could become pregnant should avoid use as safety has not been confirmed, and caution is advised during breastfeeding. It is not used in children under 12 years of age because safety and efficacy have not been established. Excessive use may cause redness or a warm sensation on the skin, so application should be limited to 10% of total skin area. This drug is for external use only and should not come into contact with the eyes or mucous membranes. Keep out of reach of children and avoid transferring into other containers to ensure safety and maintain quality. Furthermore, long-term use (over 8 years) may rarely lead to tissue hyperpigmentation or specific skin disorders, so care is needed.
