Precautions

This medication is a topical steroid used to relieve inflammation and itching of the skin. However, it should not be administered to patients with skin infections caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or animals, as it may worsen the symptoms. Additionally, it should be avoided by individuals who are allergic to this drug or its components, patients with ear diseases involving perforated eardrums, severe burns or ulcers, and those with certain types of dermatitis or acne. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, as well as young children and the elderly, need special caution when using this medication. In particular, children under the age of 2 should use it only after consulting a doctor. When using this medication, there is a risk of skin infection, so if any signs of infection appear, usage should be discontinued immediately and appropriate treatment should be sought. Using it for a long time or over a large area may have systemic effects and may cause side effects such as adrenal suppression, so regular monitoring is necessary. Caution should be taken when using it around the eyes, as it may result in increased intraocular pressure or eye diseases such as glaucoma. The treatment period is usually limited to within 7 days, and it is preferable to discontinue as soon as the symptoms improve. This medication is not for ophthalmic use and should not be applied to the skin after makeup or shaving. Using it with occlusive dressings increases the risk of infection and should be done only under a doctor's instruction, and long-term use on the face should be avoided. Store out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion. Finally, overuse or misuse of this medication can result in systemic side effects, so it must be used strictly according to a doctor's instructions.
