Relief of muscle pain, joint and tendon disorders, and swelling and pain following trauma
This medication is used for various pain and inflammatory conditions such as degenerative arthritis, shoulder periarthritis, tendonitis, lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow), muscle pain, and swelling and pain after trauma. It effectively alleviates the pain and inflammation that patients experience, reducing discomfort in daily life. Due to this efficacy, it helps improve the function of joints and muscles and relieve symptoms, making it widely used for various conditions that require analgesia and anti-inflammatory effects.
After removing the release liner [peel-off backing] from the patch, apply it to the affected area [site of the condition] twice daily.
This medicine is a flurbiprofen formulation in a patch form used on the skin. Do not use this medication if you have had an allergic reaction to flurbiprofen or similar medicines in the past. In particular, those with a history of aspirin-induced asthma may experience asthmatic attacks if they use this medication and should avoid it. Bronchial asthma patients should be very cautious when using this medication, as it may pose a risk of asthmatic attacks. If symptoms such as redness of the skin, rash, itching, burning sensation, or contact dermatitis arise while using it, discontinue use immediately. If early signs of an asthmatic attack occur, such as wheezing and difficulty breathing, stop using this medication immediately and consult a healthcare professional. While this medication helps relieve inflammation and pain, it does not treat the underlying cause and is intended only for symptom relief. When used on an area with a skin infection, it may conceal the infection, so it should be used in conjunction with antibacterial or antifungal agents, and the condition should be closely monitored. For chronic diseases like degenerative arthritis, additional treatment methods should be considered alongside pharmacotherapy, and careful monitoring for side effects is essential. This medication should not be used during the early and middle stages of pregnancy unless absolutely necessary, and if it must be used, only the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration should be used. In the later stages of pregnancy, it must not be used as it may pose risks to the fetus and mother. It is not recommended for children as safety has not been sufficiently established. Elderly individuals should use this medication carefully while monitoring their skin condition. Do not apply this medication to areas with wounds, mucous membranes, eczema, or rashes, and clean the sweat from the application area before using the patch.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
