Treatment of dermatophyte infections (tinea pedis, tinea corporis, etc.) and tinea versicolor, as well as skin candidiasis
This medication is used for the treatment of dermatophyte infections. It effectively improves infections caused by dermatophytes such as tinea pedis, tinea capitis, and tinea corporis. It is also helpful for the treatment of tinea versicolor and skin candidiasis. In other words, it is used to alleviate symptoms against various types of skin fungal infections and to maintain healthy skin.
Apply once or twice a day to the affected area (area of disease). The treatment duration according to the condition is as follows: 1. Tinea pedis: 1 time daily for 1 week Interdigital (between toes) tinea pedis: 2 times daily for 1 week Plantar (sole) tinea pedis: 2 times daily for 2 weeks 2. Tinea corporis, tinea capitis: 1 to 2 weeks 3. Skin candidiasis: 1 to 2 weeks 4. Tinea versicolor: 2 weeks If clinical symptoms do not improve after the treatment period, re-evaluation is necessary.
This medication should not be used by individuals with an allergic reaction to this medication or its components, or with a history of such reactions. It is advisable that pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, as well as breastfeeding women, do not use this medication. Additionally, it should not be used by children. If a rash or allergic reaction occurs while using this medication, stop usage immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist. If the skin becomes excessively irritated or symptoms worsen, discontinue use and consult a professional. If symptoms such as hives, redness, itching, irritation, contact dermatitis, skin peeling, scabbing, pigmentation abnormalities, pain, burning sensation, or excessive irritation occur, stop using it immediately and seek advice. This medication is safer when not used with sealed dressings or packaging unless directed by a physician. If no effect is observed from the use of this medication, fungal testing should be conducted to check for other infectious agents, followed by appropriate alternative treatment. When candidal infections are present, it is advisable to avoid using acidic soaps. When applying this medication to intact skin, the likelihood of systemic absorption affecting the entire body is very low, but caution should be exercised, especially on wound areas or extensive applications, particularly in infants. If this medication is accidentally ingested, use activated charcoal to eliminate the active ingredient and seek treatment as needed according to the symptoms. This medication is a topical preparation for external use only and should not be applied to the eyes or mucous membranes. If it gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water, as eye irritation or, rarely, worsening of fungal infections may occur. It should not be used on nails, scalp, around the mouth, or vaginal areas. Reports indicate that this medication may exhibit toxicity from weak light in animal experiments, so caution is required when exposed to sunlight. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and safely sealed in the original container. Transferring it to another container may lead to misuse or degradation of the drug's quality.
