Precautions

This medicine should not be used in patients with certain bacterial, fungal, viral, or animal skin infections as it may worsen symptoms. Additionally, individuals allergic to this medicine or its components or with a history of hypersensitivity should avoid using it. This medicine is also not suitable for those with specific skin conditions such as perforated eardrums, ulcers, severe burns, or perioral dermatitis. Patients with sensitivity to aminoglycoside antibiotics or bacitracin should refrain from using this medicine. Those allergic to or hypersensitive to propylene glycol should use this medicine cautiously. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, as well as children, should consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. If any unusual symptoms such as skin infection, irritation, rash, itching, or dryness occur while using this medicine, immediate discontinuation and consultation with a professional is necessary. Prolonged use or use on large areas may lead to side effects such as suppression of pituitary-adrenal function, glaucoma, cataracts, kidney impairment, and hearing loss, so caution is required. Particularly in children, drug absorption is higher relative to body surface area, increasing the risk of side effects, so only minimal amounts should be used. When using this medicine, strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and duration, avoid prolonged use, and discontinue as soon as symptoms improve. Using this medicine with occlusive dressings may lead to systemic absorption of the drug, raising the risk of side effects, so it should not be used without a doctor's instruction. Furthermore, this medicine should not be applied directly to the eyes, and is best used for treatment purposes only after makeup or shaving.
