Precautions

This medication may cause liver damage if taken regularly by individuals who consume more than three alcoholic beverages per day, therefore consulting a doctor or pharmacist is essential. This medication contains acetaminophen, so caution is advised to avoid exceeding the maximum daily dose if other acetaminophen-containing products are used simultaneously. Individuals with hypersensitivity or those who have experienced allergic reactions such as rashes, itching, or swelling from taking this medication should not take it. Furthermore, those who have had asthma symptoms after using this medication or other cold medications or analgesics should also avoid it. Individuals with severe liver or kidney disease or a history of allergies should take this medication with caution. If symptoms such as hives, swelling, chest tightness, pallor, cold sweat, or shortness of breath occur after taking this medication, it should be discontinued immediately, and a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted. If a severe rash or blisters appear across the body along with a high fever, or if asthma symptoms occur, the medication should also be stopped immediately, and a professional should be consulted. This medication may increase the risk of liver toxicity if taken with certain drugs or alcohol that slow down the breakdown of acetaminophen, so caution is necessary. If hypersensitivity reactions such as hives, redness, or itching occur during use, it should be discontinued immediately, as rarely severe allergic reactions such as angioedema or anaphylaxis may occur. If liver function problems occur, this medication should be discontinued, and caution is advised as gastrointestinal disturbances, bleeding, drowsiness, dizziness, and headaches may also occur. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should only use this medication when the benefits outweigh the risks, as its safety has not been established. Taking this medication along with alcohol or central nervous system depressants may enhance effects, so use it with caution. Finally, this medication should be kept out of reach of children, stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and it is best not to transfer it to another container to maintain quality.
