This medication helps alleviate the gum inflammation remaining after periodontal treatment, ranging from gingivitis to mild to moderate periodontitis. It is used as part of additional care during the treatment process to reduce inflammation and improve gum health. It assists patients in achieving more effective periodontal treatment outcomes. Therefore, it is used as an adjunctive treatment for periodontitis.

How to take

Adult dose

Adults should take 1 capsule 3 times a day after meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be taken by children under 15 years of age. Additionally, it contains lactose, so patients with genetically determined galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption should not take this medication. Before taking this medication, it is essential to consult a doctor, dentist, or pharmacist if you have a history of allergic reactions or are currently taking other medications. It is also important for individuals who have had allergic reactions to drugs or eggs to consult a specialist before taking this medication. Patients who are undergoing treatment or have a family history of allergies should consult before taking this medication as well. This medication contains a dye called Yellow No. 5, so individuals who are sensitive or allergic to this ingredient should exercise caution. If symptoms such as rash, redness, diarrhea, loss of appetite, gastric discomfort, nausea, vomiting, or stomatitis appear after taking this medication, it should be discontinued immediately, and a specialist should be consulted. Severe symptoms such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome or toxic epidermal necrolysis can occur, so if symptoms such as fever, erythema, itching, conjunctival injection, or stomatitis occur, a doctor should be consulted immediately. If symptoms do not improve after a month of use, discontinue use and consult a specialist. This medication must be taken according to the prescribed dosage and duration, and long-term continuous use is not recommended. Store in a safe place out of reach of children, and to avoid compromising quality or risk of misuse, it should be kept in the original container and tightly closed.
