Improvement of arthritis and pain, including rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis
This medication is used for various joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis (degenerative arthritis), and periarthritis of the scapulohumeral joint. It is also effective for relief of pain from toothache, inflammation due to trauma, low back pain, sciatica, and pain from non-articular rheumatism. It reduces inflammation and pain associated with these symptoms, improving discomfort in daily life.
Administer 100 mg of aceclofenac twice daily every 12 hours. This medication should be taken whole, without chewing or crushing. Adjust as appropriate based on symptoms. To minimize cardiovascular side effects, it should be administered at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.
Patients who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication, as it may cause gastrointestinal bleeding. This medication may increase risks for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular issues; therefore, individuals with risk factors such as heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, or smoking should carefully consider whether to take it. Additionally, it is advisable to use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible. This medication can cause serious gastrointestinal issues such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations, so those who are elderly or have a history of gastrointestinal disorders should exercise caution when taking it. If gastrointestinal discomfort or bleeding symptoms occur during use, immediate medical attention should be sought. Patients with active peptic ulcers or a history of bleeding, or those allergic to this medication or similar drugs, should not take it. Additionally, it is contraindicated in patients in late pregnancy, nursing mothers, and those with severe heart failure, severe kidney, or liver dysfunction. Patients with impaired kidney function or a history of heart failure, hypertension, or asthma should be especially cautious when taking this medication, and regular check-ups as per a physician's instructions are necessary. This medication may cause side effects such as dizziness, gastrointestinal disturbances, elevated liver enzyme levels, rashes, and, rarely, serious allergic reactions or damage to the liver and kidneys. If any unusual symptoms occur, it is essential to notify healthcare personnel immediately. Before taking this medication, one must check for possible interactions with other medications being taken, particularly anticoagulants, diuretics, antihyperglycemics, lithium, and methotrexate. During pregnancy, particularly in the last trimester, this medication should not be taken as it can be harmful to the fetus, and women planning to conceive or in early to mid-pregnancy should use it with caution at the lowest dose for the shortest time necessary. The safety and efficacy of this medication in children and adolescents have not been established; therefore, its use is not recommended. Elderly patients are at a higher risk for gastrointestinal bleeding and perforation and should use this medication with caution. In cases of overdose, symptoms such as gastrointestinal irritation, hypotension, respiratory depression, and seizures may occur, necessitating immediate medical assistance, and this medication should be kept out of reach of children. Care should be taken not to transfer it to another container, as this may negatively affect the drug's quality.
Hives, severe swelling (edema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweats, pallor, severe rash with fever, blisters, skin peeling, pain in mucous membranes of the mouth/eyes, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, asthma attack, cough with fever, yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), profound systemic fatigue, sudden and severe headaches, thunderclap headaches, seizures, confusion, vision abnormalities, paralysis, and anuria.

Store this medication in a tightly sealed container to protect it from air and moisture. The storage temperature should be maintained at room temperature between 1 and 30 degrees Celsius, avoiding excessively hot or cold places.
