Dosage and Administration

Adult dosage

Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 1 to 3 times a day.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals with certain skin infections. Patients with bacterial, fungal, viral, or animal skin infections should be cautious as symptoms may worsen. Individuals allergic to this medication or its components should not use it. Patients with a perforated tympanic membrane experiencing eczema in the external ear should avoid using this medication as it may delay healing. Patients with ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite should not use this medication, as it may inhibit skin regeneration and delay healing. It is recommended that patients with perioral dermatitis, common acne, or rosacea refrain from using this medication. Individuals allergic to aminoglycoside antibiotics or bacitracin should not use this medication. Pregnant or potentially pregnant women, as well as nursing mothers, must consult a doctor or pharmacist prior to use. It is also advisable for children to consult a specialist before use. If any symptoms of skin infection, irritation, rash, itching, or redness occur during use, discontinue immediately and consult a professional. Long-term use may lead to thinning of the skin, pigmented changes, hirsutism, and other side effects, so caution is advised. This medication contains corticosteroid components, and prolonged or extensive use may lead to systemic side effects; therefore, dosage and duration should be strictly adhered to. Particularly, when used with occlusive dressings, systemic absorption may increase, leading to risks such as adrenal suppression, hyperglycemia, and Cushing's syndrome. Care should be taken when applying near the eyes due to the risk of increased intraocular pressure or glaucoma. Patients with poor renal function or hearing impairment should avoid long-term use. If sensitization symptoms occur during use, discontinue immediately, and children are especially sensitive to side effects, so the minimum effective dose should be used. The treatment duration should follow the doctor's instructions, and it is preferable to discontinue use as soon as symptoms improve. This medication should not be used for ophthalmic purposes, nor should it be used for reasons other than treatment (e.g., after makeup or shaving). Keep out of reach of children and store in the original container.
