This medication is used to alleviate various arthritis symptoms such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, and periarthritis of the scapulohumeral joint. It also helps relieve pain from toothache and inflammation occurring after trauma, as well as low back pain, sciatica, and pain caused by non-articular rheumatism. It effectively improves inflammation and pain around the joints and muscles, thus reducing discomfort in daily life.

How to take

Adult dose

Take 100 mg of aceclofenac once every 12 hours, 2 times a day. Do not chew or crush this medication; take it as is. Adjust the dosage as appropriate according to symptoms. To minimize cardiovascular adverse reactions, the minimum effective dose should be administered for the shortest duration necessary.

Precautions

This medication may cause gastrointestinal bleeding in individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol per day; therefore, it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist before use. This medication poses risks of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular problems, so patients with risk factors for cardiovascular disease should use it cautiously and take the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible. Symptoms related to cardiovascular issues may appear, so patients and physicians should monitor symptoms closely, and patients with a history of cerebrovascular hemorrhage should be especially careful. This medication may lead to serious gastrointestinal complications such as bleeding, ulcers, or perforations, hence elderly patients or those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases should exercise caution. Patients with active peptic ulcers or bleeding, patients allergic to this medication or similar medications, and those with allergic reactions to aspirin or other anti-inflammatory analgesics should not take this medication. Women in late pregnancy or breastfeeding, and patients with severe heart failure, or significantly impaired kidney or liver function should also avoid this medication. Patients with a history of kidney disease, heart failure, hypertension, asthma, or liver disease should use this medication with caution and require close monitoring by a physician during administration. This medication may cause side effects like dizziness, gastrointestinal disorders, liver function abnormalities, and skin rashes, so if any abnormal symptoms arise, immediate consultation with healthcare professionals is necessary. Dizziness or drowsiness may occur during driving or operating machinery, so caution is advised.
