Relief of insect bites and dermatitis (itching, eczema, etc.)
This medication is used for skin inflammatory conditions such as insect bites, skin itching, eczema, and hives. It also helps alleviate symptoms of dermatitis, heat rash, and chilblains. It is effective in improving discomfort caused by these skin issues.
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area (disease site) several times a day.
This medication should not be used in children under 30 months of age. It should especially not be applied around the eyes or mucous membranes. Additionally, avoid using it on areas with dermatitis from eczema or poison ivy. People with a history of allergic reactions from medications or cosmetics should use this medication with caution. Caution is also required for those who have a family history of allergies. Patients receiving treatment for excessive moisture or severe blistering on the skin should also use it carefully. Special attention should be given as it may induce seizures in young children. This medication contains propylene glycol, and those who are allergic or sensitive to this ingredient should pay careful attention before use. If abnormal symptoms such as rash, redness, itching, or swelling occur while using this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a pharmacist or a doctor. Follow the prescribed dosage and administration guidelines and caregivers should monitor and guide young children closely. If symptoms do not improve after 5–6 days of use, it is advisable to stop use and consult a specialist. This medication is for topical use only and should never be ingested. Avoid contact with the eyes, and if it does get into the eyes, rinse immediately with clean water, and if symptoms are severe, seek treatment from an eye doctor. Store in a safe place out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, dry place with the cap tightly closed. Transferring the medication to another container may lead to misuse and degrade the quality, so it should be stored in its original container.
