How to take

Adult dose

Adults should take 100 mg of Aceclofenac every 12 hours, for a total of 2 times per day. This medication should be taken whole without chewing or crushing. Adjust the dosage according to symptoms. To minimize cardiovascular adverse reactions, use the lowest effective dose for the shortest necessary duration.

Precautions

This medication can increase the risk of gastric bleeding in individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily; therefore, it must be consulted with a doctor or pharmacist. This medication can raise the risk of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases; individuals with risk factors such as heart disease, hypertension, or diabetes should use it cautiously and preferably at the lowest dose for the shortest duration necessary. It can also cause serious gastrointestinal issues such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations, so caution is particularly needed in older adults or those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases. Patients with active peptic ulcers or bleeding, those allergic to this drug or similar medications, those with severe heart failure or cardiovascular diseases, pregnant women in the late stages of pregnancy, breastfeeding mothers, and patients with bleeding disorders should not take this medication. Individuals with impaired liver or kidney function, older adults, hypertensive patients, or those with a history of asthma should use this medication with special caution and follow their doctor's instructions. This medication can cause various side effects, such as dizziness, dyspepsia, liver function abnormalities, skin rash; if any abnormal symptoms occur, medical consultation should be sought immediately. This medication may interact with other drugs, so informing the doctor is crucial, especially if on anticoagulants, diuretics, antihypertensives, or antineoplastics.
