This medication is used for epithelial disorders of the conjunctiva caused by endogenous factors such as Sjögren's syndrome, ocular mucous membrane syndrome (Stevens-Johnson syndrome), dry eye syndrome, and exogenous factors such as surgery, drug use, trauma, and contact lens usage.

How to apply drops

Adult eye dose

Multi-use: Instill 1 drop 5–6 times a day. Adjust as appropriate according to symptoms. Typically, the 0.1% formulation is used, and in cases where effectiveness is insufficient for severe conditions, the 0.3% formulation is used. Single-use: Instill 1 drop 5–6 times a day. Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients with allergic reactions to its components or protein-based drugs. Symptoms such as itching, irritation, conjunctivitis, redness, and corneal damage may occur, and rarely, discharge or pain may develop. If these symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and seek appropriate medical treatment. Hypersensitivity reactions such as blepharitis or eyelid dermatitis may also occur, so caution is advised. When using with other eye-related medications, the risk of adverse reactions may increase; therefore, wait about 30 minutes after using other eye drops before using this medication. This medication should only be used for direct application to the eyes, and care should be taken to avoid contact of the container tip with the eyelids or eyelashes. If the tip touches, the medication may become contaminated, so do not use cloudy solution. The preservative components can adhere to soft contact lenses; therefore, do not use while wearing lenses and put on lenses at least 15 minutes after administration. Single-use products should be used immediately after opening, and any remaining solution or container should be discarded, with the first 1-2 drops discarded when opened. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, protected from direct sunlight, and kept in a cool place. To maintain quality, do not transfer to another container, and it is advisable to avoid shared use to prevent contamination.
