Women in early pregnancy or those who could become pregnant, children, and patients allergic to propylene glycol should use this medication with caution. Discontinue use if symptoms arise, as infections can occur on the skin and allergic reactions such as itching, rashes, and skin irritation may appear. Prolonged use or use over large areas may lead to side effects such as skin thinning, pigmentation changes, and telangiectasia. This medication may have systemic effects, requiring caution due to risks of pituitary and adrenal suppression, increased intraocular pressure, glaucoma, and cataracts. Follow the prescribed dosage and frequency carefully, and use in children under adult supervision. It is advisable to stop using as soon as symptoms improve and to switch to a corticosteroid-free alternative. Treatment duration should be limited to within 7 days, and care should be taken to prevent excessive absorption due to sealed dressings or diapers. Caution is warranted when used with latex contraceptive devices, as it may damage the device and reduce efficacy. Usage during pregnancy can affect the fetus, so consult a physician, and it is safest not to use during breastfeeding. For children, use should be limited to the minimum dosage to avoid side effects such as growth retardation or adrenal suppression. In case of overdose, immediate gastric lavage is necessary, and this medication is for external use only and should never be ingested.
