Treatment of dermatophyte and tinea (fungal infections)
This medication is used to treat dermatophyte infections such as tinea pedis (athlete's foot), tinea cruris (groin), and tinea corporis (body) caused by various dermatophytes including Trichophyton, Microsporum canis, and Epidermophyton floccosum. It is also effective for tinea versicolor caused by Pityrosporum orbiculare. In other words, this medication helps to improve various types of skin fungal infections.
Apply once or twice a day depending on the indication. Before application, clean the affected area and dry it completely, then apply sufficient amount to thoroughly moisten the affected area and its surroundings. Treatment duration: 1. Tinea pedis, tinea cruris, tinea corporis: once a day for 1 week 2. Tinea versicolor: twice a day for 1 week Symptomatic relief usually appears within 2-3 days. To prevent recurrence of infection, regular treatment for an appropriate duration is recommended.
This medication is a topical preparation containing terbinafine hydrochloride for the treatment of skin fungal infections. This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to terbinafine or any of its ingredients. Women who are pregnant, likely to become pregnant, or breastfeeding should not use this medication, especially breastfeeding mothers should discontinue nursing while using this medication. It is advisable not to use this medication in infants and children, as its safety and efficacy have not been sufficiently established. If any of the following symptoms occur during the use of this medication: hives, redness, erythema, itching, irritation, contact dermatitis, skin peeling, sharp pain or burning sensation, discontinue use immediately and consult a physician or pharmacist. If excessive skin irritation occurs or symptoms worsen, stop using this medication and consult a healthcare professional. Unless directed by a physician, avoid using this medication with occlusive dressings or packaging methods. If there is no response to this medication, confirm the presence of other infections through fungal testing and consider alternative treatments. This liquid form contains alcohol; caution is needed when using it on infants or mucous membranes. If there is a Candida infection, avoid using acidic soaps and be particularly cautious with cream formulations. When applying to intact skin, minimal systemic absorption is expected, although monitoring is required when applying to wounds, large areas, or for usage in infants, as systemic effects may arise. In case of accidental ingestion of this medication, appropriate emergency measures such as gastric lavage should be undertaken. This medication should be used solely on the skin and should not come into contact with the eyes or mucous membranes. If the product comes into contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. It should not be used on nails, scalp, around the mouth, or in the genital area. When using the liquid form, there may be increased irritation when applying to cracked or broken skin, so caution is advised. This medication should be stored in a safe place out of reach of children. Finally, due to reported mild photosensitivity from animal studies, caution should be exercised regarding sunlight exposure when using cream formulations.

This medication should be kept in a tightly sealed container to prevent contact with air or moisture. It is best to maintain the storage temperature between 1 to 30 degrees Celsius at room temperature to keep the medication effective.
