This medication is used to treat tinea pedis, tinea cruris, and tinea corporis caused by a variety of dermatophytes including Trichophyton, Microsporum canis, Epidermophyton floccosum. It is also effective for tinea versicolor caused by Pityrosporum orbiculare and skin candidiasis. This drug improves various skin fungal infections caused by fungi and Candida.

How to use

Adult use

Apply to the affected area (site of disease) 1 to 2 times a day. The duration of treatment varies by disease as follows: 1. Tinea Pedis: once a day for 1 week Interdigital tinea pedis: twice a day for 1 week Plantar tinea pedis: twice a day for 2 weeks 2. Tinea corporis and tinea cruris: 1 to 2 weeks 3. Skin candidiasis: 1 to 2 weeks 4. Tinea Versicolor: 2 weeks If clinical symptoms do not improve after the treatment period, a reassessment should be made.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who are allergic to or have had hypersensitivity reactions to specific ingredients. Women who are pregnant, potentially pregnant, or breastfeeding are also advised against using this medication. Additionally, children should not use this medication. This product contains propylene glycol; individuals with a history of allergies or hypersensitivity reactions to this ingredient should use caution. If the patient experiences rashes, itching, redness, or hives while using this medication, they should stop using it immediately and consult a healthcare professional. If the skin is severely irritated or the condition worsens, the patient should inform a specialist promptly. When using this medication, do not use sealed dressings or packaging techniques without a doctor's instruction. If symptoms do not improve after using this medication, another infection should be checked and appropriate treatment obtained. In case of Candida infection, it is advisable to avoid using acidic soaps. Caution is needed if wounds are present, if it is used on large areas, or in particular for infants, as absorption can occur, affecting the body systemically. If this medication is accidentally ingested, activated charcoal should be used to remove the active ingredient, and appropriate treatment for symptoms should be followed. This drug is for topical application only; it should not be used on the eyes, mouth, nails, scalp, around the mouth, or genital area. If it gets into the eyes, they should be rinsed immediately with plenty of water, and attention should be paid to the possibility of eye irritation or worsened infection. There have been reports of slight phototoxicity (sensitivity to light) in animal experiments with this drug, so caution should be taken regarding sun exposure. It should be stored out of the reach of children, in its original container, tightly closed. Transferring it to another container may reduce the quality of the medication or increase the risk of misuse.
