Adult dose

ㆍAdults: Administer 100㎎ of tiropamide hydrochloride orally 2-3 times daily. ㆍAdjust the dose as appropriate according to age and symptoms.

This medication should not be used in patients with narrowed or obstructed gastrointestinal tracts. It should also not be administered to patients with megacolon or severely impaired bowel function. Individuals with allergic reactions to this medication should not take it. It is safe not to use this medication in patients with very poor liver function. Since this medication contains lactose, patients with a genetic problem digesting lactose should avoid taking it. Caution is required when using this medication in patients with glaucoma or benign prostatic hyperplasia. Taking this medication may cause dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, or constipation. If symptoms such as itching or skin rashes occur, the medication should be stopped immediately. Patients taking antihypertensive medications should be cautious as excessive intake of this medication may lower blood pressure too much. Pregnant women should take this medication only when necessary and under the guidance of a physician. This medication should be stored in a safe place out of the reach of children. Transferring the medication to another container may alter the quality or cause accidents, so it is recommended to keep it in the original container.
