Relief of muscle tension associated with conditions such as neuralgia and myalgia.
This medication is used for various conditions accompanied by abnormal muscle tension such as typical pains like neuralgia, myalgia, arthralgia, lumbago, as well as pain due to sprains, shoulder stiffness and pain, muscle cramps, and muscle rigidity.
Take 2 tablets per dose, up to 4 times a day. Avoid taking on an empty stomach. Adjust dosage according to age and symptoms.
This medication should be discussed with a doctor or pharmacist if you regularly consume alcohol above three glasses a day, as it may lead to liver damage. This drug contains acetaminophen, so be cautious as taking it together with other acetaminophen-containing products can exceed the maximum daily dosage and cause liver damage. Individuals allergic to chlorzoxazone or acetaminophen, or who have had hypersensitivity reactions such as rashes, itching, or swelling after taking this medication, as well as those who have experienced asthma symptoms from this medication or other cold medications and antipyretic analgesics should not take it. If symptoms such as hives, swelling, chest tightness, pale face, cold sweat, or shortness of breath occur during use, immediately stop taking it and consult a doctor or pharmacist. Care should be taken as taking barbiturates, tricyclic antidepressants, or alcohol may slow down the breakdown of acetaminophen and burden the liver. Those with severe liver or kidney diseases, or history of allergies, should use this medication cautiously. Discontinue use if hypersensitivity reactions like hives, redness, or itching occur, as there may be rare but serious allergic reactions such as skin rash, bleeding, color change in urine, angioedema, or anaphylaxis. If liver dysfunction symptoms appear, stop taking it immediately, and be aware that gastrointestinal disturbances, gastric bleeding, drowsiness, dizziness, headache, malaise, and excessive excitement may also occur. Pregnant women or those who may become pregnant should only take this medication when the therapeutic benefits outweigh the risks, as its safety has not been established. Taking it with alcohol or central nervous system depressants may interact and worsen side effects, so precautions are necessary. Keep out of reach of children, and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Additionally, to prevent misuse and maintain quality, do not transfer to another container.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
Store this medication in a tightly closed container to protect it from air and moisture. It is recommended to maintain a storage temperature between 1 degree and 30 degrees at room temperature.
