This medication is used for chronic inflammatory joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis (degenerative joint disease). It is also effective for relieving various types of pain, including periarthritis of the shoulder, dental pain, post-traumatic inflammation, low back pain, and sciatica. It helps alleviate pain caused by non-articular rheumatism, improving the patient's daily life. This medication assists in maintaining comfort by reducing inflammation and pain. Overall, it is widely used for the management of joint and musculoskeletal pain.
As aceclofenac, take 100 mg twice a day every 12 hours. Do not chew or crush the medication; take it whole. Adjust dosage according to symptoms. It should be administered at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible.
This medication may pose a risk of gastrointestinal bleeding in individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages a day; therefore, consultation with a physician or pharmacist is required. This medication may increase the risk of serious cardiovascular complications such as myocardial infarction and stroke in patients with heart or cerebrovascular issues or risk factors, thus a careful evaluation is necessary prior to treatment initiation and it should be taken at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible. If gastrointestinal bleeding or ulcer symptoms are suspected during the use of this medication, seek medical attention immediately, and discontinuation of medication may be necessary if required.
