Relief of inflammation and pain in rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, etc.
This medication is used for inflammatory diseases such as arthritis disorders like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis, and various other inflammatory conditions such as periarthritis of the scapulohumeral joint. It is also effective for relieving pain from dental pain, inflammation following trauma, lower back pain, sciatica, and pain caused by non-articular rheumatism. This medication can help reduce discomfort in daily life by improving pain and inflammation.
As aceclofenac, take 100 mg twice daily every 12 hours. This medication should be taken whole without chewing or crushing. Dosage may be adjusted according to symptoms. To minimize cardiovascular side effects, it should be administered at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.
This medication may cause gastric bleeding in individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages a day, so consultation with a physician or pharmacist is essential. This medication may increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, so patients with cardiovascular risk factors such as heart failure, hypertension, or diabetes should take it with caution. Serious issues such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforation may occur with this medication; therefore, it should be used with extra caution in patients with a history of gastrointestinal disorders or in the elderly. This medication should not be taken by patients with active peptic ulcers, those allergic to it, pregnant women in late pregnancy, or individuals with severe heart failure. Patients with poor kidney or liver function, or those with heart failure or hypertension should closely follow a physician's instructions when using this medication. This medication may cause side effects such as dizziness, gastrointestinal disturbance, liver enzyme abnormalities, or skin rashes, so patients should consult medical personnel immediately if any unusual symptoms occur. This medication may elevate blood pressure or exacerbate heart failure; therefore, patients with hypertension or heart disease should regularly monitor their blood pressure and symptoms while taking it. This medication may interact with other drugs, so patients taking anticoagulants, diuretics, antihypertensives, or antidiabetic medications must consult with a physician. During pregnancy, especially in the third trimester, this medication should not be taken as it may harm the fetus, and breastfeeding women are also advised to avoid it. Safety for children and adolescents has not been established, so it is recommended not to use this medication in this population. Elderly patients are at higher risk for side effects such as gastrointestinal bleeding, so they should be particularly cautious when taking it. In cases of overdose, symptoms such as gastrointestinal irritation, hypotension, respiratory depression, or seizures may occur; therefore, care must be taken not to exceed the recommended dosage, and immediate treatment should be sought for any unusual symptoms. This medication should be kept out of reach of children, and transferring it to another container may not preserve its quality.
