Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with skin infections caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, or animals. Individuals who are allergic to this medication or have experienced hypersensitivity reactions to its components should also avoid use. It is advisable not to administer this medication to patients with eczematous otitis externa who have perforations in their eardrum, as it may delay wound healing. This medication should not be used in patients with ulcers on the skin or severe burns or frostbite, as it may hinder skin regeneration. Patients with perioral dermatitis, common acne, rosacea, or pruritus around the anus or genitals should also be cautious about using this medication. This medication should not be administered to infants under 2 years of age. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, nursing mothers, children, the elderly, and those allergic to propylene glycol contained in this medication should use it cautiously. Skin infections may worsen while using this medication, so if symptoms of infection occur, use should be stopped immediately and appropriate treatment sought. Long-term use or application over large areas may cause skin thinning, pigmentation changes, acne, itching, rashes, and other side effects, requiring caution. This medication can be absorbed systemically and may affect hormonal function, so regular monitoring is necessary when used extensively or with occlusive dressings. Caution should be taken when applying around the eyes, as it may increase intraocular pressure or the risk of glaucoma, and immediate consultation with a physician is needed if visual disturbances, such as blurred vision, occur. In general, this medication should not be used with eczema or dermatitis accompanied by skin infections, but if absolutely necessary, it should be used in conjunction with infection treatment. As soon as symptoms improve, use should be stopped as soon as possible, and if symptoms worsen or do not improve, it should be discontinued immediately. This medication contains components that may irritate the skin, eyes, or mucous membranes, so caution is advised. The safety of this medication has not been established in pregnant or nursing women, so it should only be used when absolutely necessary and under the guidance of a physician. Children have a larger skin area relative to their body weight, increasing the risk of side effects, so continuous use should not exceed 3 weeks, and careful observation is required. Elderly individuals may experience side effects more readily, necessitating special caution with long-term use. This medication is not for ophthalmic use and should not be used for non-therapeutic purposes after makeup or shaving. When using occlusive dressing methods, the risk of infection is heightened, so the affected area should be kept clean and managed according to a physician's instructions. Keep out of reach of children to prevent safety accidents.
