Remove the release liner from the medicated surface and apply to the affected area twice daily.
This medicine is a topical preparation containing flurbiprofen, used to relieve pain and inflammation. This medication should not be used by patients who have previously experienced allergic reactions to flurbiprofen or similar drugs. In particular, for patients with a history of aspirin-induced asthma, it may provoke an asthma attack, so it should not be administered. Patients with bronchial asthma should use this medication with caution as their asthma symptoms may worsen. During use, skin reactions such as redness, rash, itching, or irritation may occur; if any of these symptoms appear, application should be stopped immediately. Additionally, if initial symptoms of an asthma attack such as shortness of breath or wheezing occur, use should be discontinued and healthcare professionals should be consulted. Asthma attacks may occur within a few hours after applying this medication. This medicine helps alleviate symptoms but does not replace treatment for the underlying disease. If used on an area with a skin infection, the infection may worsen, so it should be used in conjunction with antimicrobial or antifungal agents, and the condition should be closely monitored. When used for chronic conditions, other treatment methods should also be considered alongside medication, and vigilance for side effects should be maintained. Use of this medication should be avoided during the early and middle stages of pregnancy, except in special cases, and if unavoidable, it should be used at the minimum effective dose for the shortest duration. In the late stages of pregnancy, it should never be used as it may pose risks to both the fetus and the mother. Safety has not been fully established for children, so its use is not recommended. In elderly patients, the skin may be more fragile, so skin condition at the application site should be carefully checked and used cautiously. This medication should not be applied to broken skin or areas with mucosal lesions, eczema, or rashes, and the area intended for application should be cleaned of sweat before use.
Not everyone experiences these, and they can vary from person to person.
