Precautions

This medicine should not be used until the patient has completely healed from sunburn. Individuals allergic to this medication or any of its components should not use it. Women who are pregnant, may become pregnant, or are planning to become pregnant should not use this medication. It is safest not to use this medication on areas with wounds, damaged skin, sunburned skin, areas with eczema or seborrheic dermatitis, and areas with severe acne. People who are frequently exposed to sunlight or are sensitive to sunlight should use caution when using this medication, as skin irritation may occur. While using this medication, the skin may become dry, and symptoms such as irritation, burning, or redness may appear, which usually improve by reducing the frequency of use or discontinuing it. Rarely, side effects such as itching, peeling, or contact dermatitis may occur, and use should be stopped if symptoms are severe. Exposure to sunlight or artificial UV radiation may increase skin irritation, so it is important to apply sunscreen and protect the skin with hats or other clothing while using this medication. Increasing the dosage of this medication will not yield faster results, and excessive use may lead to increased skin irritation. After using other skin exfoliating treatments, this medication should only be used once the skin has completely healed. Once symptoms improve, discontinuing the use of this medication is advisable, and long-term continuous use is not recommended. Avoid hair removal methods such as electrolysis, waxing, or chemical depilatories on the application site of this medication. This medication contains components that may irritate the skin, eyes, or mucous membranes; therefore, care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and nose. It is better to avoid using this medication in conjunction with other retinoid medications or similar acting drugs. Avoid using it in conjunction with strong cleansers, alcohol-containing products, or those containing high levels of fragrances. During pregnancy, the medication may be absorbed in small amounts through the skin, so it is safest not to use it, and it should be discontinued immediately if pregnancy is confirmed. If breastfeeding, it is advisable to use this medication carefully since it is uncertain whether the medication is passed through breast milk, and it is preferably not applied to the breast area. The safety and efficacy of this medication have not been established in children under 12 years of age, so its use is not recommended. If this medication is overdosed, symptoms such as vomiting or other abnormalities may occur, and medical consultation should be sought immediately. This medication is for external use only and should be kept away from eyes or mucous membranes; if contact occurs, it should be immediately rinsed with clean water. Store in a place out of reach of children and do not transfer to another container for safety. This medication may increase the risk of skin cancer if exposed to sunlight or artificial UV light, so it is crucial to minimize UV exposure while using it.
