Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with certain skin infections or hypersensitivity to this medication. Women who are pregnant or nursing, children, the elderly, and patients with liver dysfunction or diabetes should use this medication with caution. Skin infections can occur, and use may lead to skin irritation or rashes, so use should be discontinued if symptoms worsen. Long-term use can lead to skin thinning or alterations, so caution is advised, particularly in sensitive areas such as the face, neck, or genitals, which should be used for a short duration only. Even if used locally, it may be absorbed systemically and affect hormonal function, so it is advisable not to use it over large areas or apply with occlusive dressings for prolonged periods. Care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes as using it around the eyes may lead to eye diseases such as glaucoma or cataracts. Pregnant women should use it for the minimum amount and the shortest duration necessary due to the increased risk of low birth weight. Nursing mothers should take care not to expose the baby to it. Children may absorb the drug more easily than adults, making side effects more likely, so it should be used for the shortest period possible, and its use should be regularly evaluated. Elderly patients may need caution due to delayed drug clearance caused by reduced liver or kidney function. In case of overdose, symptoms of hormone excess may appear, so gradual discontinuation under a doctor's guidance is important. This medication should not be used directly in the eyes, and it should not be used for purposes other than treatment, and occlusive dressings should only be applied under physician supervision. After use, hands should be washed thoroughly, and since this medication is flammable, it is safest to avoid smoking or being near open flames while using it. Store out of reach of children, and keep it in the original container, avoiding direct sunlight and heat.
