This medication is effective for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, and degenerative joint disease known as osteoarthritis. It also alleviates fever and pain caused by colds, aids in low back pain and dysmenorrhea, and can be used to relieve postoperative pain. It is applicable to various pain symptoms such as ankylosing spondylitis, headaches, toothaches, muscle pain, and neuralgia. Moreover, it is used for conditions like acute gout, psoriatic arthritis, soft tissue damages like sprains and contusions, as well as non-articular rheumatic diseases such as tendinitis and bursitis. Therefore, it is widely used to improve pain from various diseases and symptoms and to reduce inflammation.

How to take

Adult dose

Rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, soft tissue injuries, non-articular rheumatic diseases, acute gout, psoriatic arthritis: administer 200 to 600 mg per dose orally 3 to 4 times a day. Precautions

Individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol per day should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. People who frequently drink alcohol face a higher risk of gastrointestinal bleeding when taking this medication. This medication may increase the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, and other cardiovascular adverse reactions in individuals with cardiovascular diseases or risk factors. Particularly, caution is required when taking it long-term or at high doses. During treatment, cardiovascular symptoms should be monitored carefully. This medication can cause serious gastrointestinal side effects such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, or perforations. Elderly individuals or those on long-term treatment have a higher risk of gastrointestinal adverse events. Symptoms related to the gastrointestinal tract should be monitored carefully during treatment, and alternative treatment methods should be considered for those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases. Individuals with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers, bleeding, severe blood disorders, liver disorders, kidney disorders, heart failure, hypertension, asthma, or certain genetic diseases should not take this medication. Also, individuals allergic to any components of this medication or with hypersensitivity to aspirin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should avoid its use. Pregnant individuals in their third trimester or individuals with certain genetic disorders should also refrain from using this medication. This medication should not be taken in excess of the recommended dose and should not be used concurrently with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. For nursing mothers, as this medication can pass into breast milk and cause adverse effects in infants, breastfeeding should be discontinued or the medication should be stopped. Individuals with abnormal blood conditions, liver or kidney disease, heart disease, hypertension, or a history of allergies should consult a doctor or pharmacist prior to taking this medication. Individuals taking low-dose aspirin should be cautious as this medication may decrease the effectiveness of aspirin or increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. During the course of treatment, if severe allergic reactions, breathing difficulties, severe skin rash, gastrointestinal bleeding symptoms, liver dysfunction, kidney function decline, or other abnormal symptoms occur, discontinue taking the medication immediately and consult a healthcare professional. This medication should be used at the lowest effective dose and for the shortest duration possible; regular blood tests and liver and kidney function tests should be conducted to monitor for abnormalities during long-term use. Patients with hypertension or heart failure should check their blood pressure and fluid status periodically while taking this medication. In the case of overdose, even if asymptomatic, immediate medical attention should be sought. This medication should be kept out of the reach of children and stored in its original container to prevent exposure to moisture.
