Relief of common acne and photoaging (fine wrinkles, hyperpigmentation)
This medication is helpful in treating common acne. It also alleviates symptoms of photoaging such as fine wrinkles and hyperpigmentation, thus improving skin health. Through these effects, it is used to enhance the overall condition of the skin and to maintain healthier skin.
Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area once daily (at bedtime) or twice daily. When treating sensitive skin, apply once daily or every other day. Adjust according to symptoms.
This medication is in the form of a topical ointment, primarily used for treating skin conditions. This medication should not be used by certain patients. For example, those who are allergic or hypersensitive to this medication or its ingredients, individuals with a history of skin cancer or family history of skin cancer, those with eczema or wounds, individuals who have recently suffered severe sunburn, pregnant women or those who may become pregnant, and those who are breastfeeding should avoid using it. During use, side effects such as redness, swelling, and itching may appear. Skin may also become dry, and stinging, rashes, etc. can occur, so if such symptoms arise, the dosage should be reduced or discontinued. When using this medication, sensitivity to sunlight increases, so it is essential to avoid direct sunlight and to use sunscreen. Additionally, it is advisable to avoid using artificial ultraviolet lamps. When applying cosmetics, the skin should be thoroughly washed before applying this medication, and care should be taken to avoid contact with specific soaps or hair products that may cause irritation. If pregnant or breastfeeding, it is advisable not to use this medication, as its safety has not been established, and especially for women who may become pregnant, confirmation of pregnancy should be performed before use. This medication is not recommended for use in children, as its safety and effectiveness have not been established. Excessive use can lead to increased skin irritation or discomfort, so the prescribed dosage and quantity should be followed. This medication should be applied with caution to avoid contact with mucous membranes such as eyes, nose, and mouth, and if it gets into the eyes, it should be rinsed immediately with plenty of water. This medication is for external use only and should not be applied to areas with inflammation or wounds. For storage, if in gel form, it is flammable, so it should not be kept near heat or flames, and the lid must be tightly closed and stored out of reach of children.
