This medication is used to gradually bleach excessive pigmentation on the skin, such as chloasma, melasma (freckles), and age spots. It helps lighten the skin by reducing excess melanin deposited in unnecessary areas, resulting in a more even skin tone. This effect aids in improving the overall cosmetic condition of the skin.

How to apply

Adult use

As hydroquinone, apply 2% or 4% once or twice a day (in the morning and before bedtime) to the affected area.

Precautions

This medication is a cream used to improve skin pigmentation. Care should be taken to avoid sun exposure while using it. Even brief exposure to sunlight can result in the reappearance of pigmentation on the skin. Areas where this medication is applied should be protected with sunscreen or covered with clothing. Animal studies have indicated the potential carcinogenic effect of this medication's ingredients when used long-term; therefore, the treatment duration must be strictly observed. Individuals allergic to this medication or with hypersensitivity should not use it.
