Used for relief of pain caused by rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoarthritis (degenerative arthritis), periartritis of the scapulohumeral joint, toothache, post-traumatic inflammation, low back pain, sciatica, and non-articular rheumatism.

How to take

Adult dose

As aceclofenac, take 100 mg once every 12 hours, twice a day. This medication should be taken whole without chewing or crushing. Adjust according to symptoms. To minimize cardiovascular adverse reactions, it should be administered at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.

Precautions

This medication should be consulted with a doctor or pharmacist before use for individuals who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol daily. Drinking heavily while taking this medication may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. This medication can affect the heart and cerebral blood vessels, potentially leading to serious cardiovascular issues such as myocardial infarction or stroke. People with risk factors for cardiovascular disease such as heart failure, hypertension, diabetes, and smoking should use this medication cautiously, at the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible. Cardiovascular symptoms should be carefully monitored in consultation with a physician during use. This medication can cause serious problems such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, or perforation; therefore, individuals with a history of gastrointestinal disease or elderly patients should be particularly cautious. The risk may increase with long-term use, and any gastrointestinal symptoms should prompt immediate consultation with healthcare providers. Individuals with active peptic ulcers, bleeding, or a history of these conditions should not take this medication. Furthermore, those allergic to this medication or similar drugs or with a history of allergic reactions such as asthma or urticaria should refrain from using it. Patients with severely impaired kidney or liver function, pregnant women in late pregnancy, nursing mothers, and those with inflammatory bowel disease should not use this medication.
