Treatment of musculoskeletal pain-related muscle spasms and neurogenic spastic paralysis
This medicine helps alleviate pain and muscle stiffness associated with musculoskeletal disorders. It is effective in conditions such as shoulder-arm syndrome, adhesive capsulitis, and low back pain. It is also used for spastic paralysis caused by neurological disorders, helping to relieve stiffness in various brain and spinal cord-related conditions, such as cerebrovascular disorders, spinal cord injury, and cerebral palsy. This medication reduces muscle stiffness and pain, improving patient mobility and reducing discomfort in daily life. Therefore, it is widely used for alleviating muscle stiffness and pain caused by musculoskeletal and neurological disorders.
As Eperisone Hydrochloride, take 50 mg orally three times a day after meals. Adjust dosage as appropriate according to age and symptoms.
This medication should not be used in patients with allergic reactions or severe myasthenia gravis. Furthermore, this medication contains lactose, so it should not be administered to patients with genetic disorders that cannot digest lactose. Patients with a history of drug allergies or liver dysfunction should exercise caution when using this medication, as liver function may deteriorate. While taking this medication, severe allergic reactions, liver, kidney, or blood-related abnormal symptoms may rarely occur; therefore, if symptoms arise, it is necessary to immediately discontinue use and consult a physician. Various side effects such as skin rash, itching, insomnia, drowsiness, headache, dyspepsia, urinary problems, fatigue, etc. may occur, so symptoms should be closely monitored. In particular, if symptoms of serious skin conditions such as Stevens-Johnson syndrome appear, treatment should be stopped immediately and professional care sought. Drowsiness or decreased concentration may occur during the intake of this medication, so it is advisable to avoid driving or operating dangerous machinery. The use of this medication in conjunction with other muscle relaxants may lead to side effects, so it is essential to consult a physician. Pregnant women or those who could become pregnant should only be administered this medication when the potential benefits outweigh the risks, as the safety has not been sufficiently established. Women who are breastfeeding should avoid using this medication if possible, and if it is necessary, it is advisable to discontinue breastfeeding. The safety of this medication has not been sufficiently verified in children, so caution should be exercised when using it. Elderly patients may have reduced physical function, so dosage should be reduced or taken with special caution.
