Relieves discomfort in the stomach due to meat stagnation
Used to relieve discomfort in the stomach caused by physical tension or stress.
Typically, an adult should take 1 packet (20 granules (3.0 g)) three times a day before meals or between meals.
This medication should not be taken by pregnant women or women who may become pregnant, as the Da Huang ingredient may cause contractions of the uterus or increase blood flow to pelvic organs, raising the risk of premature birth or miscarriage. This medication should also not be taken by breastfeeding women, as certain components in Da Huang can pass into breast milk and cause diarrhea in infants. If breastfeeding, either this medication should not be taken or breastfeeding should be stopped while on this medication. Newborns should also avoid taking this medication. Additionally, this medication contains lactose, so individuals with lactose intolerance or certain genetic metabolic disorders should not take it, as it may cause health issues. Elderly patients or those on other medications should consult with a healthcare professional before taking this medication, as elderly patients may need dosage adjustments due to decreased physical function. Patients with diarrhea or loose stools, weak stomachs, poor appetite, nausea, vomiting symptoms, or significant fatigue should also consult a professional before taking this medication, as it may exacerbate symptoms. If symptoms like poor appetite, stomach discomfort, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or diarrhea occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. Also, if symptoms do not improve after taking for a week, stop use and seek advice. This medication is an irritant laxative; prolonged use may lead to tolerance and worsen constipation. Therefore, it is advisable not to take it for more than a week. If daily laxatives are necessary, the underlying cause should be investigated. Adhere strictly to the prescribed dosage and administration, as the effects of Da Huang may vary among individuals, caution is necessary. When taking this medication with other herbal preparations, ensure that the same ingredients are not duplicated. Special care should be taken when using other preparations containing Da Huang. Store this medication in a cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture, and ensure it is tightly sealed after use. Keep it out of reach of children, and avoid transferring medicines from their original containers to other containers to prevent misuse or degradation of quality.
