Precautions

This medication is not recommended for individuals with specific diseases or symptoms. For example, those who have an allergy to this medication or similar types of medications, or have a history of blood-related diseases should avoid taking it. Also, individuals already on other gastrointestinal medications or those undergoing treatment for certain diseases (blood diseases, liver or kidney diseases, immune disorders, etc.) should exercise caution. It is advisable for individuals under 15 years of age or over 80 years of age, and for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, to refrain from taking this medication. Notably, this medication contains lactose, so those with lactose intolerance or related genetic disorders should avoid taking it. During treatment, do not take this medication along with high-dose aspirin or certain anticancer drugs, antibiotics, and be cautious about overlapping with other gastrointestinal medications. Additionally, avoid consuming alcoholic beverages. Before taking this medication, if there is a history of drug allergies or if other medications are being taken, if you are over 65 years old, or are experiencing symptoms such as neck pain or high fever, consult a healthcare professional. If symptoms such as rash, difficulty breathing, abnormalities in blood, digestive disorders, liver function abnormalities, or neurological symptoms appear while taking the medication, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. It is also important to consult a specialist if the prescribed dose is exceeded or if symptoms do not improve within three days. This medication may hide symptoms of stomach cancer, so it should be taken only after confirming whether the malignancy exists, and patients with severely impaired liver or kidney function may require dose adjustments. It is advisable to closely monitor the treatment progress; if effects are lacking, it is better to switch to alternative treatments. Furthermore, do not take it for longer than two weeks, and strictly adhere to the prescribed usage and dosage. To prevent heartburn or excessive gastric acid, avoid lying down immediately after meals, reduce caffeine, chocolate, fried foods, and alcohol intake, and avoid eating just before bedtime. For those who are overweight, weight loss is recommended, and smokers should reduce their smoking or quit altogether. Lastly, this medication should be stored out of the reach of children.
