Precautions

This drug should be used with caution in individuals who regularly consume more than three alcoholic beverages per day, as this may cause liver damage; always consult with a doctor or pharmacist. This drug contains the ingredient acetaminophen, and taking it with other products that also contain acetaminophen may lead to serious liver damage, so caution is advised. People with an allergic reaction to chlorzoxazone or acetaminophen should not take this medication. Patients with significantly impaired liver or kidney function, as well as those with a history of drug allergies, should use this medication cautiously. If symptoms of an allergy such as hives, rash, or itching occur while taking this medication, discontinue use immediately, as rare but serious reactions including angioedema or anaphylaxis may occur. If symptoms indicating liver dysfunction emerge, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Occasionally, gastrointestinal disturbances or gastrointestinal bleeding may occur, so caution is needed if dyspeptic symptoms persist. Additionally, neurological symptoms such as drowsiness, dizziness, headache, lethargy, and excessive excitement may occur, thus caution should be exercised when driving or operating machinery. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only use this medication if the benefits outweigh the risks, as its safety during pregnancy has not been fully established. Finally, this medication may have interactions with alcohol or central nervous system depressants, potentially increasing side effects, so caution is needed when taking them together.
