Relief of eczema, dermatitis (such as itching), and insect bites
This medication is used to alleviate inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema or dermatitis and to relieve itching. It also helps to temporarily improve skin irritation symptoms caused by insect bites, poison ivy, or poison oak. This product helps reduce itching and discomfort caused by skin irritation, maintaining a comfortable skin condition.
Shake well before use, apply an appropriate amount to the affected area (diseased area) 1-3 times daily, and adjust according to symptoms.
This medication should not be used in patients with bacterial, fungal, viral infections, or animal-related skin infections as it may worsen symptoms. Patients with a history of allergies or hypersensitivity to this medication or its components should also refrain from using it. In patients with otitis externa with a perforated eardrum, this medication should not be used as it may delay wound healing. It is advisable not to use this medication in patients with skin ulcers, severe burns, or frostbite as skin regeneration may be inhibited, delaying recovery. Patients with perioral dermatitis, common acne, rosacea, or non-inflammatory itching should not use this medication. Pregnant or nursing women, particularly those of childbearing potential, should use this medication cautiously, and infants or children, especially those under 2 years of age, should use it only after consulting a physician. Elderly individuals should also use it with caution as the risk of side effects is increased, and individuals allergic to propylene glycol in this medication should also use it carefully. While using this medication, there is a risk of skin infections, particularly when using occlusive dressings, as the risk of infection is increased. Various skin adverse reactions such as skin irritation, rash, itching, erythema, and skin dryness may occur, and if symptoms develop, use should be discontinued. With long-term use, steroid-induced skin changes, acne, skin atrophy, and pigmentation changes may occur, so it is advisable to gradually reduce the dosage and switch to a non-corticosteroid medication. Due to systemic absorption, this medication may affect hormonal functions, necessitating regular testing with long-term or extensive use. Caution should be exercised when applying around the eyes due to the risk of glaucoma or cataracts, and if vision becomes blurred or abnormal, consult an ophthalmologist immediately. The duration of use should be limited to within 7 days, and use should be discontinued as soon as symptoms improve. Pregnant or nursing women should consider the risks to the fetus or infant and use only the minimum dosage and duration if absolutely necessary. There is a risk of adrenal suppression or growth disturbances in children, so prolonged use should be avoided, particularly in occluded areas such as those covered by diapers. Elderly individuals have a higher risk of side effects, so their condition should be closely monitored with prolonged or extensive use. Excessive use may lead to systemic side effects, so appropriate management should be based on a physician's instructions. This medication should not be used for ophthalmic purposes and should not be applied to areas not intended for treatment, such as after makeup or shaving. The occlusive dressing method should be used according to a physician's instructions, and the affected area should be cleaned beforehand to reduce infection risk. Facial skin is more sensitive to medication, so it is safest not to use it for extended periods. Finally, this medication should be kept out of the reach of children, and caution should be exercised as prolonged, large-scale use in psoriasis patients may worsen skin symptoms.
