Used for symptoms such as summer colds, loss of appetite due to heat, diarrhea, and general fatigue.

How to take

Adult dose

Typically, the adult dose is 5.0 grams taken 3 times a day before meals or between meals.

Precautions

This medication contains lactose; therefore, individuals with a genetic condition that prevents them from digesting lactose should not take it. Patients with high blood pressure or heart or kidney issues, those with edema, individuals who have previously experienced allergic reactions to medications, patients currently taking other medications, pregnant women or those who could become pregnant, children, and elderly individuals should consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. If unusual symptoms such as swelling of the face or hands and feet, increased blood pressure, or headaches occur during use, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. Additionally, if muscle weakness, cramps, or paralysis occurs, stop taking the medication and consult a doctor. If skin rashes or itching develop, stop taking the medication and inform a specialist. If symptoms do not improve after taking this medication for more than one month, discontinue use and consult a doctor. This medication must be taken in accordance with the prescribed dosage and duration, and if used for long-term treatment, consultation with a specialist is essential. Particularly, caution should be exercised when taken with medications containing potassium or licorice extracts, or certain diuretics, as side effects may easily arise. When taking with other herbal medications, it is important to check for overlapping ingredients. Store the medication in a tightly sealed container away from direct sunlight, in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children. Furthermore, do not transfer the medication from its original container to another container, and ensure it is tightly sealed after use. Lastly, while there is no clear evidence that certain herbal ingredients included in this medication cause cancer, it should only be used when the benefits of treatment are deemed greater than the risks.
