Used for symptoms such as food retention in Taeeum individuals, obesity, diarrhea, and stroke.

How to take

Adult dose

Generally, for adults, take 1 packet (1 dose) 3 times a day before meals or between meals.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who are not of Taeeum constitution. Contains lactose and should not be administered to patients with lactose intolerance or certain genetic disorders. Use with caution in patients with severely weakened physical strength, weak stomachs, lack of appetite, nausea, or vomiting. Additionally, caution is needed for patients with excessive sweating, heart diseases, hypertension, severely impaired kidney function, urinary disorders, hyperthyroidism, or diabetes. Side effects such as insomnia, excessive sweating, rapid heartbeat, frequent urination, palpitations, general weakness, and mental agitation may occur when taking this medication. Gastrointestinal side effects may include decreased appetite, gastric discomfort, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea, while urological side effects may involve urinary disorders. Care should be taken when using this medication in conjunction with Ma Hwang or ephedrine-containing drugs, certain antidepressants, thyroid agents, catecholamines, and xanthine-based drugs, as side effects may increase. Consult with a doctor, traditional medicine practitioner, or pharmacist before taking this medication and strictly adhere to the prescribed dosage and administration. In children, it should be administered under the supervision of a guardian and should not be given to infants under 1 year old. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only use this medication when the therapeutic benefit outweighs the risks. Elderly individuals may have decreased bodily functions; thus, their condition should be monitored closely, and dosage should be adjusted accordingly. When storing, keep away from direct sunlight and store in a cool, dry place. Ensure it is kept out of reach of children.
