This medication is effective for various types of pain and inflammation, including degenerative arthritis (osteoarthritis), periarthritis of the shoulder, tendonitis and tenosynovitis (inflammation of the tendon and tendon sheath), lateral epicondylitis known as tennis elbow, muscle pain, and swelling and pain after trauma. This medication particularly helps to reduce inflammation in the joints and surrounding tissues and alleviate pain, thus improving the patient's daily activity level. Therefore, it is used for the pain relief and anti-inflammatory treatment of such conditions.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals with an allergy to specific components or who have had photosensitivity. Those who have experienced asthma attacks due to aspirin-induced asthma or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs should avoid this medication. Individuals with hypersensitivity to similar components should refrain from use due to the potential for cross-reactivity. Pregnant women beyond six months of gestation should not use this medication as it may harm the fetus. Children under 15 years of age should not use this medication. Patients with bronchial asthma must consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. Patients currently undergoing other treatments should also consult with a specialist before using this medication for safety. Pregnant or nursing women should avoid long-term or large-scale use of this medication as its safety has not been established. If allergic symptoms such as hives, difficulty breathing, or facial swelling occur during use, the medication should be stopped immediately, and a specialist consulted. If early signs of respiratory symptoms or asthma attacks occur, use should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. If symptoms such as redness, rash, itching, blisters, or swelling occur, or if skin reactions worsen due to UV exposure, use should be stopped. If symptoms do not improve after one week of use, discontinue the medication and consult a doctor or pharmacist. The area where this medication is applied may become sensitive to UV light; therefore, it is necessary to avoid outdoor activities or pay attention to UV protection for two weeks during and after use. This medication is a treatment that alleviates symptoms and is not a cure for the underlying cause. If accompanied by skin infections, it should be used together with appropriate antibacterial or antifungal agents, and side effects should be closely monitored. When used for chronic conditions such as degenerative arthritis, other treatment methods aside from medication should also be considered, and the condition should be monitored periodically. This medication should not be used on the eyes or mucous membranes. Care should be taken when applying to damaged skin or areas with eczema or rash, as there may be temporary irritation or pain. This medication should not be used on areas with fungal infections such as athlete's foot or tinea. It is recommended not to use occlusive dressing when applying this medication. It should be stored out of reach of children.
