Treatment of peripheral arterial circulation disorders (intermittent claudication) and brain function disorders (tinnitus, dizziness)
This medication is primarily used to treat peripheral artery circulation disorders, specifically intermittent claudication. It also aids in alleviating dizziness and vascular and degenerative tinnitus. For patients with brain function disorders accompanied by dementia-related symptoms, it is effective in improving tinnitus, headaches, memory loss, concentration difficulties, depressive symptoms, and dizziness. It is used for treating various neurological and vascular-related symptoms.
1) Peripheral arterial circulation disorders, dizziness, tinnitus (ear ringing): 40 mg of Ginkgo Biloba Extract, orally 3 times a day, or 80 mg orally 2 times a day. 2) Organic brain function disorders: 40-80 mg of Ginkgo Biloba Extract, orally 3 times a day, or 120 mg orally 2 times a day. Adjust as necessary based on age and symptoms.
Do not take this medication if you are hypersensitive to any of its ingredients. It is advisable not to use this medication in children under 12 years of age due to insufficient experience. Pregnant women should consult a healthcare professional before taking this medication, as there is not enough information to ensure safety, and caution is required. If you have bleeding disorders or are taking blood-thinning medications, consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. Breastfeeding women should also consult a professional before using, as it is not known if this medication transfers through breast milk. If surgery is planned, discontinue this medication and consult your healthcare provider. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after taking the medication for more than 3 months, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare professional. Minor gastrointestinal discomfort, headaches, and allergic skin reactions may occur when taking this medication, so inform a healthcare provider if these symptoms arise. Rarely reported side effects include dizziness and itching, and a severe allergic reaction called anaphylaxis may occur, so caution is advised. This medication is not a treatment for high blood pressure, so it is safer for patients with high blood pressure not to use it. Store this medication out of reach of children, away from direct sunlight, and in a cool place with low humidity, making sure the cap is securely closed.
