How to apply

Adult use

Apply an appropriate amount to the affected area 1-2 times daily and adjust according to symptoms. This medication is a potent corticosteroid and should not be used continuously for more than 2 weeks or exceed 50g (50mL liquid form) in one week.

Precautions

This medication is a potent steroid preparation for topical use and should not be used in patients with certain infections or those with a history of allergies. Particularly, caution is required in cases with bacterial, fungal, viral, or animal skin infections since symptoms may worsen. Additionally, it should not be administered to individuals with a perforated eardrum, ulcers, severe burns, scalp infections, acne, itching in the anal and genital regions, and infants under 24 months. Caution is required for pregnant or nursing women, children, the elderly, individuals with liver dysfunction, and diabetic patients. Use should be in accordance with a physician's instructions. While using this medication, skin infections may occur, and side effects such as skin irritation, rashes, itching, and skin atrophy may appear. Long-term use may result in steroid-induced skin changes or systemic side effects, so it is important to limit the duration and area of use. When used around the eyes, there is a risk of increased intraocular pressure or eye diseases such as glaucoma and cataracts, requiring caution. Once symptoms improve, quit using the medication as soon as possible, and consult a doctor immediately if symptoms worsen or side effects occur. Pregnant or nursing women should avoid extensive or long-term use of this medication, and when necessary, it should only be used in minimal amounts and for the shortest period. In children, the risk of side effects is higher due to their larger skin surface area in relation to weight, so special caution is necessary; this medication is not recommended for children aged 24 months to under 18 years. Elderly patients have a higher risk of side effects, so physician observation is needed for massive or prolonged use. In cases of overdose, there is a risk of adrenal insufficiency, hence gradual dosage reduction or discontinuation under physician supervision is necessary. This medication should not be used directly in the eyes or outside the treatment area, and occlusive dressings must be applied only as directed by a doctor. After use, wash hands thoroughly and store in a place out of reach of children. Store in the original container to maintain the quality of the medication and prevent misuse.
