Precautions

This medication should not be used by individuals who are allergic to the active ingredient or other components or have experienced hypersensitivity. It is important not to take this medication concurrently with oral immunosuppressants such as tacrolimus or sirolimus, as this may increase blood concentration and lead to side effects; regular blood concentration monitoring and careful observation are necessary if co-administration is required. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should consult a doctor before using this medication. Although animal studies have not shown significant issues with reproductive ability or teratogenicity, it should be used under medical guidance for safety, and the use of insertion devices should be avoided. It is advisable for breastfeeding individuals to consult a healthcare professional before using this medication. This medication works locally with a low absorption rate, making transmission through breast milk unlikely, but consultation is recommended for safety. If unusual symptoms such as sudden allergic reactions, low blood pressure, difficulty breathing, abdominal pain, skin rash, itching, or vaginal bleeding occur while using this medication, it should be discontinued immediately and medical consultation sought. During menstruation, it is advisable not to use this medication, and if a trichomonas infection is suspected, oral treatment should also be received for full recovery. In cases with accompanying vulvitis or candidiasis, it is preferable to use an additional cream form of medication, and it is important to treat sexual partners to prevent reinfection. Maintain personal hygiene by changing towels or underwear daily and washing them. During treatment, it is advisable to avoid using tampons, vaginal cleansers, or other vaginal insertion products and to refrain from vaginal intercourse due to the risk of transmission to the partner. Care should be taken to avoid contact with eyes and not to swallow. If symptoms such as high fever, lower abdominal pain, foul-smelling vaginal discharge, nausea, or vaginal bleeding occur, consult a doctor immediately. There is no specific antidote for overdose; if taking too much by mistake, it is important to visit a medical institution quickly for appropriate care. This medication may weaken latex products such as condoms or vaginal contraceptive diaphragms, so caution is advised. This medication is for vaginal use only and should not be taken orally. It is recommended for use by children over 12 years old and adults only. When storing, keep out of reach of children and store tightly closed in the original container. It is best to store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
